Agbado Community Development Association (ACDA) welcomes you to tour our website and learn more about this organization of Community and Economic Development, and the significant role we play in providing effective  information and advocacy.

Implementing programs in today’s changing Community Development context can be very challenging especially given the different compliance requirements from a host of added programs.  Many CD Professionals have also endured staff reductions, erosion of political clout, and funding cuts but still must find ways to get the job done.  ACDA’s theme this year is to “endeavor to work better, smarter and faster”  
The Agbado Community Development Association provides a platform for Community Development Professionals to come together and discuss how they can best handle their similar responsibilities working for and/or with federal, state and local government, housing and economic development agencies, businesses, politicians, non-profit organizations and others. In order to work better, smarter, and faster we have to change to “fit” the new paradigm where responsibilities are greater but the resources are smaller and we say the time is NOW to work smarter together!  It has never been more critical for us to be more effective and become more efficient.  We call on all Practitioners to share their information and “best practices”, to network, and attend training so we can become more “excellent” in all that we do!
